Police in Newark, Delaware, are investigating a shooting that sent multiple people to the hospital.
According to police, officers were called to the 100 block of East Main Street around 11:15 p.m. Saturday after reports of a mass shooting near the University of Delaware.
Police say at least six people were shot and taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
Their conditions are not yet known.
Viewer video shows students running from the area, as well as police rushing in with their guns drawn.
Main Street was closed down for a period of time following the shooting, but has since reopened.
Police say there does not appear an ongoing threat to the public.
